Commonly called Dappled Willow, this shrub provides year-round interest in the landscape with its dramatic foliage and branches. This variegated selection features new foliage that emerges pink, maturing to a mottled white and green as the weather warms. Yellowish catkins hang from the branches during the spring. After its leaves, which turn yellow in fall, drop from the branches, its bright red stems become exposed just in time for the winter. The Dappled Willow's weeping form makes it look spectacular when placed around a water feature or for use in hedges or borders.
