'Blue Wonder' is a dwarf, mounding, bushy perennial growing to 12" tall. Features small, abundant, two-lipped, trumpet-shaped, dark blue flowers in loose, interrupted racemes to 6". Easily grown in average, dry to medium, well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. Thrives in dry soils and is very tolerant of drought. Somewhat intolerant of the heat and humidity and appreciates some light afternoon shade in hot summer climates. Shear flower spikes after initial flowering to promote continued bloom. 'Blue wonder' must be propagated by division because seeds are sterile.
